My Birthday – Officially over
And what an epic birthday it was… I guess I should start out by thanking everyone who pays attention and knew it was my birthday. Your email, txts, phone calls, tweets, facebook posts, gifts and good wishes all added to the specialness of this wonderful day for me. Thank you, sincerely.
As for what I did, lets just say it was Simon Dexter tradition as always…..going to some weird place and checking out what it had to offer. Somewhere in the Midwest my boys and I ventured forth on a journey of thrill seeking and fun. We had dinner together and quickly moved to the bar scene to check it out.
After exploring the local bars and clubs we wuickly realized it had absolutely nothing to offer us in terms of excitement past potentially getting into some sort of drama or fight with the locals, which we do not do. So we pulled up some strip clubs on our phones and one by one started t check each one out.
Oh boy….here’s where the fun began! The first 3 of them were soooo horrendous… don’t get me wrong, I think all people are beautiful, just not all people should be strippers. The girls at these clubs where out of a bad stereotypical trailer trash movie (pardon my political incorrectness but lets keep it real). Luckily, a bit out of the way the last club we went to was much much nicer and we settled in to what ended up being quite a fun night with lots of tipping and lap dances all around.
If your going to celebrate, you might as well do it big.
Yet there is really no rest for the wicked. After coming back around 430 in the morning, we promptly changed gears, and clothes, and went straight to the gym to work all of the fun and gallivanting off with a hard pump and a good sweat. A perfect way to end a perfect night.
