My New Favorite Movie – Where the Wild Things Are

My New Favorite Movie – Where the Wild Things Are

I know, im late….but this movie touched upon something every little boy and girl go through growing up…facing loneliness and making sense of love. Love is such a mystery. There are so many levels to love. Love can be for a friend, for a family member, for a toy, for a brother, for a sister, for a peice of food or for a special someone….love can be for a movie or for a vertain smell… love is everywhere at all times in a various form or expression. Its just us who arnte alway in tune with it.

When did we let go of our imaginations? Wen did we let go of our fascination with the world not only around us but also inside of us? This movie touches on so many real and emotional aspects of our existence. I think it is really well done and leaves you wanting more, way more.

It reminds me of a feeling I had when I was a young boy reading the Narnia chronicles by lamplight, listening to Enya and fantasizing i was the prince, or that i would one day wake up and meet Aztlan. Arn’t fantasies awesome!?

But more importantly, before my free thought writing takes me on a coarse way off topic….back to love. I guess love is what defines our happiness. If we have love in some form or another we feel more happy, if we are missing love we feel less happy. Yet how do we find love?  Well…..perhaps love finds us when we express ourselves to others in kindness, acceptance, patience, compassion.

Its late, im sleepy, these are half baked thoughts i’d love to explore more in mysleep….goodnight :)

Ninja Assasin – 5 out of 5 for Kills

Ninja Assasin – 5 out of 5 for Kills

The most amazing action/death/kill movie Ive seen to this date. WOW! There were so many amazing actions scenes in this flick I don’t know where to begin. I wont give any of the storey away but will comment on how gruesome and mesmerizing the kills were and how vampiricly the ninjas moved through the shadows(shadow clan). It was shot very very well with some amazing camera tricks and techniques and although the storey was americanized beyond what I think it should have been it still did what it was ment to do in my opinion. I recommend this movie for anyone who enjoys action/death/violence/cult movies because you will get all the bang for your buck.

Cheers!

Tribute to the Coolest Bond Ever

Tribute to the Coolest Bond Ever

Growing up I have watched James Bond religiously. Imagining myself as a secret agent, running around town pretending to be on espionage missions, I idolized the lifestyle of Bond and modeled some of my mannerisms after this British gentleman’s character. So I figured it about time that I posted a tribute to someone whom I feel has become the coolest bond ever.

Dark, broody, Daniel Craig plays a bond who is so killer instinctual its actually scary. Quick to kill and fast to get it on with any beautiful vixen within his vicinity, he oozes a sexual essence I can only one day hope to attain. Instantly witty, instantly charming, instantly classic, this alcoholic, unforgiving, brutish yet refined, Ashton Martin driving, Martini sipping Demi God gentlemen of “desired hetero male lifestyles” is the pinnacle of all bonds that have come before him.

So Mr. Craig, here’s to you. For all the bad guys you killed, ladies you’ve slain, and lives you’ve saved, thank you. You have given this man something to aspire to, even if only in his imagination.

Cheers!
